Rumah Seri Kenangan Farewell Dinner with Pullman Kuching.

Pullman Kuching became hosts to 40 residents and staff of Rumah Seri Kenangan on Friday for their Farewell Gathering Dinner. The dinner was also attended by Eric Tan, Pullman’s General Manager, Head Of Departments, and staffs to make the night a memorable one for the senior residents.

From year to year, Pullman Kuching has performed their corporate social responsibility frequently to this welfare home by either donating food and basic needs or inviting them to attend the hotel’s events during festive occasions.

Everybody seems excited!

This dinner holds a very significant meaning to the senior residents because they will be temporarily relocated to various welfare homes in the country as the existing old building will be demolished and a new building will be built.  The estimated time of completion is two years according to the ministry. The residents and staff will be relocated to Rumah Seri Kenangan Sibu and Rumah Seri Kenangan Cheras.

Meanwhile, Pullman is also pleased to organise a birthday party for those born between Januarys till April.  Most of the residents do not have the chance to spend their birthdays with their families, and this initiative comes as a blessing to them and sets the right mood for a little celebration.

 Pullman Kuching, Accor’s second Pullman in Malaysia launched Accor’s brand-new sustainable development programme called Planet 21 Day yesterday, at Rumah Kanak-Kanak Kuching which was witnessed by employees of Pullman Kuching and staffs of Rumah Kanak-Kanak.

Pullman Kuching has been working closely with Rumah Kanak-Kanak since August 2011 and has done various activities including donation of shoes and stationery. 

For Planet 21 launching, each Executive Committee and Head of Department from Pullman Kuching planted 21 ‘Royal Palms’ at the garden of Rumah Kanak-Kanak Kuching. Following that, employees of Pullman Kuching proceeded with the painting of the children’s classroom and threw a birthday party for 60 children.

For the month of April, our resident band, Sweet Notes will be performing every Wednesday to Saturday from 9pm onwards. Whereas for May, we have another resident band, Soul d’ Beat performing on stage for every Friday and Saturday from 9pm onwards! This is the moment to give your secretary a time-off from all the administration tasks!
